Allow users to create clans

I think this is a vital feature for the Spyke community to grow. If the community is not allowed to expand itself it will inevitably cap at somewhere. I think it is important for the users to be able to create very niche clans so that those looking for a very niche thing also fit in.

Just downloaded the app after reading a post on Reddit from one of the devs and I'm impressed by the UI, very slick. I could see this becoming my Reddit alternative.

I'm happy at the moment to wait for the feature to create your own communities while the devs work on email sign-up rather than google. Reddit users desperately looking for alternatives are literally turning away at the door due to Google sign up.

I second this motion. As OP said- more communities equals more users, and more interaction.

You guys (devs) have been hard at work and this open beta is a great, big step in the right direction. I hope, for all our sake’s, that this takes off.

Perhaps for the future an option to edit one’s comment could be implemented?

Editing comments and allowing people to suggest communities is actually on our timeline.

We are prioritising email login at the moment, since there's a major demand for that. Also, we have a huge development backlog that we are tackling at the moment, we need to get those bugs out of the way so that it's easier for us to work on new features.
