Alternative investment advice?

Saved 1cr over the past decade. I don't spend too much so I'm thinking of buying a house by the next year. Anywhere I can earn great interest by parking this money safely? (minimal risk)

Lic has attractive pension plans where u get 8% assured interest for life time and refund of your money to your nominee after death. This investment carries sovereign guarantee

I have used Kotak Dynamic bond. If you are looking for 5-6% returns with minimal risk then a better option would be liquid funds investing in government bonds. Parag Parikh liquid is one of those. Overall nations stability for the next 2 years is looking good despite global market correction.

Solid advice. Are you a Nigerian prince who will double it in 2 weeks?

Instead of living in the new house. If you already have a permanent residence then you should consider getting rent from the new house. It pays a lot higher than any interest you'll earn. Plus the house is an asset you can sell and will appreciate over time.
