Any content writers here? What's the situation of copywriting and blog creation for SEO purposes?

After GPT it feels like anyone can write an SEO friendly blog for a fraction of the cost. What is the scope of this kind of job now in digital marketing companies?

Maybe for simple blogs. Like lists of restaurants and all. But any article that you would want some humor and stuff is a no no. Gpt could never write great articles like cracked.com

I personally feel that writing articles is still not as easy as just asking gpt to write it.

  1. Google is discarding AI content and you will be heavily penalised for the same. Google claims it can't tell the difference but trust me I am speaking from experience.

  2. Gpt is not authentic so factual errors will happen and if you sit to fact check every line it would be as good as writing it yourself. For example I was writing an article about Hipster cafes in Hyderabad and it just gave me random cafes that had no real reason to be classified as "hipster".

  3. AI cannot recreate your style. Which means you lose your personality and authenticity. You content will look fake and readers will immediately catch your content being written by AI.

Yes. This is all very true. But I feel in another 5-10 years you could see there being sophisticated ai that maintains a certain personality while writing. It would be indistinguishable from a human writer.
