Boss dumped a huge amount of work after I gave my 2 week notice. What to do?

I gave 2 weeks of notice on Tuesday and today I got a huge amount of video editing work given.

I am resigning due to the toxic environment here. All these digital marketing companies just looking for cheap labour I swear.

Normally I wouldn’t mind this work but here is the problem.

It will take me longer than 1.5 weeks that I have left. Plus these Chindis don’t pay overtime either. This firm is also very unprofessional. They don’t have proper documentation and stuff for things like this. I feel like just saying fuck it and leaving without completing the work. But then these people can screw over my name if a future employer calls 😡

What would you do?

Trust me, everyone is saying dump and leave. But I have been in a similar situation. I decided to do as much as I could and leave. But then when one of my future employers called for reference. These bastards gave me such a bad review. Not saying this will happen everywhere but I did happen for me and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Remember that they would fire you in an instant if they wanted to. Do the bare minimum and move on.

Simple. Do what you can do and leave the rest. Life is too short to overstress and work like this without overtime.
