Just saw the movie limitless. The character takes a pill which makes him a genius and he instantly becomes a pro at stock trading. He notices details from just analysing merger details and stuff.

If someone has higher iq they will probably do much better at stocks right?

If that was the case than high IQ people would all be very very rich. But mostly the high IQ people end up working for some company (at excellent positions) or go into research. Street smart people are the real ones who get rich.

I don't think so. Someone with high iq might have a huge bias. It's been shown that people with high iq often overestimate their ability to know things.
