Fellow Mumbaikars do you like living here despite all the issues?

After having spent the last decade here I find it amazing how people still want to live here. The traffic, heat, pollution, overcrowding and floods are just becoming unbearable for me. Not trying to offend anyone, just trying to understand why anyone would want to especially come to live here

Mumbaikar here. That city will always stay in my heart and mind rent free. It can be stressful at times but also very rewarding and fun.

Really depends on what your goal is I feel. Lots of people come here for the better pay but honestly they end up spending also a lot cuz everything is so damn expensive. The opportunities in Mumbai are something else. Whether it's to get work or start your own business there's no shortage of connections and jobs. I feel Delhi has superior infrastructure but the prople there are (to put it nicely) not so friendly. I've always found Mumbai to have far better behaved people. But if I wanted to chill I would prefer Goa, Cochin or Jaipur as well. Less opportunities in these places but.

Pay isn’t really that good compared to what u spend. Also my dream is to buy a good house, impossible to do that anywhere near the city. Will have to find some place in the outskirts. Public transport is rather garbage as well

I'll agree about the trafic. But in this country which city isn't there traffic. I feel the people here are amazing. You can roam at 3am also knowing you'll be safe. Most people are very chill here.

Also electricity is much better than most places. Like once a year there's probably just 2-3 power cuts. Night life is also amazing.
