If gaming companies are so profitable, I find it hard to believe the claims that employees are underpaid
Gaming industry is the most profitable apparantly, then why is it said that gaming companies pay less compared to the rest of the industry?
Just look at mobile games as an example, they get a free pass to show 30 second long ads in exchange for some in game benefit like an extra life or whatever. If Instagram or windows started showing such ads people would lose their shit

Probably has something to do with a lot of labour being available cuz game development is relative easier than other fields maybe and a lot of ppl want to build games
