Why do Americans only talk about themselves?
I have had an experience with many American colleagues. Wherever someone talks about something. It just boomerangs back to their experience unrelated to the convo.
Americans on avg are definitely more friendly than most of my Indian colleagues but so egotistical. Anyone else here notice this?

Generalise much?
I know many friends in India who are the same. They share unrelated experiences, or related but unnecessary experiences when in convo. It's as if they are trying to show that they have lived through harder experiences...
So definitely not just an American thing. Americans have it too, but they're friendly too.
