How do you beat post-work floppiness?
Everyone sharing their own coping mechanisms in the comments makes me want to question the whole thing itself. Why are we living like this? And why do we need to force ourselves to go through all this? What is the end goal? Are there no better ways to live? Why, why, whyyyy...

Nooooooo Mull is dead now? It's my default browser.
I hope someone picks it up and forks it like we have Cromite for Bromite.

Anon's good memory from the 2010s
So if that's the happiest moment of his in the last decade, he probably didn't end up with her. Ouch.

Try replacing "ai" with "cocaine" in all the posts you read about it.
All the big companies in the Silicon Valley are investing hugely into cocaine.

Not ai slop. Just slop as in a meaningless unfunny attention seeking short form content.

This is a case of corporation taking advantage of technically idiotic userbase, which is most of the general public. OpenAI using a dark pattern so that users can't easily unchecked that box nor making that text that says "this can be indexed by search engines" brightly visible.

Windows 10 only has a year of support: 12 months left to keep Copilot off your desktop or learn Linux
Might be a dumb question but why don't we just continue using Win10 post end of it's support? Are security updates that necessary that the system wouldn't work at all? As a kid I have used old Win versions like XP and 7 for a very long time, never had an issue.

Is there anyway to permanently stop windows from updating? I tried few methods off YT but updates do not stop.
(No, don't recommend me Linux. I have tried it(Mint and Manjaro) and it is way out of my skillset)

Video games are one of the few places where failure motivates us to get back up. It's a temporary setback that allows you to keep going, teaching us resilience and the power of a second chance.
You term it in a very positive way but I term it as nothing but "hopium".
The hope of may be you will do better in the next game or in the next next game or the one after - gamer developers use this to keep us hooked is what I believe.
You will definitely get better aa you keep playing the game and this improvement will give you even more of that hopium drug. It is a cycle which cannot be broken unless you get genuinely bored of the game.

Which games made you go into an "addiction phase"?
Rocket league. Scrolled all the comments and slightly disappointed to not find this one :/
This was a game I was truly addicted. Uninstalled it many times recognising it as an addiction but kept coming back to it. I feel lucky that I could break out of it. It was THAT addictive. Around 1200-1300hrs on that game.
