A sleep scientist/professor named Matt Walker has a podcast about, you guessed it, sleep. He talks about this and how it's very unfair to people who are biologically programmed to get tired later.

He goes on to describe scientific proof of the effect this has on their sleep and the impact to their health. It's sad really, but his hope is to raise awareness and acceptance of the night owl's schedule.

For those that don't know in the US even if you use a third party system the final settlement of the money still has to go through the Fed and it's usually as either a Wire or an ACH transaction. ACH is slow and batch processes which can be daily. Wire can be quicker but more expensive. Some banks give you access to funds sooner but it's still not settled until that NACHA batch file goes through the Fed.

Anyway there are two instant payment systems coming to the US: RTP (by the Automated Clearing House (ACH)) and FedNow.

Outside the US they've already had other instant payment systems.

This is because public transportation is socialism and we can't have tax dollars going to that pretext for communism. Capitalism is far superior which is why we are instead spending over $150 billion on deporting immigrants, which will help promote a free and open capitalist market.

I feel like not enough people are outraged about spending $6 million taxpayer dollars to El Salvador for these "prisoners" either. Where is the government efficiency?

When I married my wife and she moved in we tried renting out her house with a property management company. She got one tenant and had that tenant for over 2 years with no complaints and we never raised the rent, just enough to cover taxes going up too.

But when we wanted to move to a larger house we gave her an 8 month notice we couldn't renew since the market is so bad and we needed to sell. And my wife wasn't profiting at all, she was still in the red from the repairs and setting up the house to rent out. We offered her like $10k off the price.

Anyway long story short, the tenant gave us hell for those 8 months, and when she moved out we found she never complained about anything because she ignored all the problems which made things worse and the house needed thousands of more dollars to prepare and sell.

She'll never try being a landlord again, she hated it and the tenant shit talked her "landlord" on Facebook all the time like she was some evil monster.

I don't know how anyone else does the landlord thing, this must be all the ones run by evil corporations.

This was a house my wife bought for like $150-180k originally.
