I actually have. Mind I don't have a problem with the word in particular but I've read it used as a slur on the Internet and in real life.

It's all about intention imo. Many people use it just to clearly communicate but some also use it with hatred.

It is not. There are many queer people that were wronged by society. It is understandable why they would have hatred in their hearts.

But I guess I'm just a liar on the Internet. Have a nice one.

Radioactivity

If you only think about half live then yes it would be radioactive forever but in reality after a long time every atom would've decayed into non radioactive elements.

You can even calculate the expected time it would take for the random process of decay to terminate.

The sheer arrogance

Do you have a source on that? I'm pretty sure pizza does not go bad in 24h at room temp and normal humidity. While I agree that food safety is important not everything needs to be stored in fridge temperatures.

Well it depends on what one considers normal temperature and humidity I guess, now that I wrote this.

Introvert translator

That's just insecure communication. Nothing to do with beeing introverted.

In most situations it's easier to clearly and honestly communicate ones needs. People that take offense to confident and honest communication should be avoided anyway.

Ukraine 'light years away' from joining EU, says Hungarian PM Viktor Orban

I do not like Orban at all and hate to agree with him, but I think he is right. I think there are two big reasons why Ukraine is unlikely to join the EU proper in the near to medium term:

  1. The EU needs reform when it comes to deciding things when there is no consensus and this is now a very accepted position. The EU will only become more sluggish if we open the gates to another country with veto power.
  2. Farmers. Ukraine is a big (and has potential to be even bigger) aggreculture powerhouse. Many laws (aggreculture subsidies etc) in the EU are not sustainable if Ukrain becomes part of the EU.

These problems are solvable, but take a lot of time I think. Also I don't think it is in the EUs best interest to allow a war torn/rebuilding market into the single market, but here I could be wrong. Maybe there are reasons (like a way to exploit Ukraine after the war) that would invalidate my theory...

I would like to see the EU expand, but I think it will take a long time.
