Previously, higher levels of Social Emotes required the associated Spirit to return as a Traveling Spirit before they could be obtained. With this change, that requirement has been removed for all Social Emotes.

What's Changed?

All levels of Social Emotes can now be unlocked immediately after completing the corresponding Spirit's Memory. Players no longer need to wait for the Spirit to return as a Traveling Spirit to access additional Social Emote levels.

Exception

Duet Bow remains tied to seasonal progression and requires completion of Quest 3 from the Season of Duets before it becomes available.

This change is intended to make Social Emote progression more accessible and reduce the need to wait for specific Traveling Spirit visits. We hope this change makes collecting and upgrading Social Emotes more enjoyable!

Today we’re announcing upcoming changes to the Beta program and introducing a new program called Live Preview, launching next week on Monday, May 25th.

❓ What is Live Preview? ❓

Live Preview gives players and creators early access to upcoming content before it officially releases. Unlike Beta, participants are allowed to publicly share gameplay, screenshots, videos, and discussions.

Live Preview Details

• iOS only
• Requires membership in Skycord -️ English only -️ Applications open during select periods -️ Content is not under NDA and public sharing is allowed
• Spoiler discussions must stay in dedicated channels

Because Live Preview content is much closer to the final live release, feedback gathered through this program will function similarly to Live feedback. This helps inform future improvements, updates, and long-term planning.

About the Beta Program

The Beta program will continue as a private testing environment focused on:

• Early feature testing
• Bug reporting
• Development feedback

Beta Rules

• NDA still applies
• Beta content cannot be shared publicly
• Watermarks will remain
• Beta applications are currently closed

Skycord Changes

To support Live Preview, Skycord will be reorganized. Because Beta is now fully private, most Beta-related public channels will be archived as read-only history channels so the community can still revisit old discussions, screenshots, and memories.
