Are we all fucked?
Do yourself a favor and disconnect from news feeds, notifications and social media for 2 weeks and see how you feel.
Edit: also take a break from Lemmy. I swear I think the doomsaying here is worse than Reddit.

No way I'd be boarding that flight in either role. If it happened once it can happen again!

Mozilla removes uBlock Origin Lite from Addon store. Developer stops developing Lite for Firefox; "it's worrisome what could happen to uBO in the future."

If this is due to a single employee making a mistake then I would be inclined to question Mozilla's policies for removal of popular extensions more than fire the employee.

What's the cheapest online storage that you know of?
(preparing for inevitable downvotes) depending on how much storage you need and the flexibility you have in how you use it, Office365 includes 1TB of OneDrive storage for 6 users for somewhere around $100/yr. I use it for storing encrypted video files from my NVR and it works for my use case, but ymmv.

What are you going to do, no matter how small, to make the world a little better?
It's a small thing I started doing years ago: whenever I see a loose nail or screw in the street I'll always pick it up and put it in the nearest trash so nobody gets a flat tire or steps on it. Small, but hopefully saves some potential misery for someone.

What is your comfort activity (like comfort food)?

Sir/Madam, as an expert in this area, I draw issue with your comment: several of these can be performed WHILE shitting. The determination of which specific activities are compatible is an exercise left to the reader.

What thing are you exponentially more experienced in than the average person?
I have two useless talents:
I once identified the source of a minute gas leak in my basement, which had evaded the calibrated detection equipment of the utility company, so I guess I can't say it's completely useless.
