Considering the last few posts are about stealth and detection I might as well kick this off:
I skip and short circuit stealth/detection as much as possible.
None of my players have built a stealth based characters - probably also because of the complexity with detection and the seemingly bad action econ when dealing with "actually getting Hidden".
I have two main problems with it:
comparison explosion? Whenever you have to resolve who sees who (esp at init) you have to at worst compare a roll for each character on one side to all the perception DCs of the other side and this gets really slow for me 1
tracking who currently sees who / at what detection levels they currently are to others
Any tips and tricks very much welcome:)
Footnotes
Both me and PCs track chars digitally (pathbuilder) and it is definitely slow to gather this information quickly on a laptop. A sheet of paper with highlighted bonuses/DCs for both the party and NPCs would go a long way for this but our play table is rather small and already pretty packed :/ ↩
Brace yourself for a wild ride where music meets mayhem! Look Mum No Computertakes you to the quirky, pixel-art universe of Soldersworth in this twin-stick shooter action-RPG. I've been reading very much just e-books on an ereader for the last few years (so all my Brando Sando books were read on that) and while I knew the SA books are definitely in the "big-to-huge" category page-count wise, it didn't connect at all how absolutely totally humongous at least the Wind And Truth is!
If I haven't read the ebook already I might have gotten too scared by the size haha.
WaT with an almost standard sized lightbulb for scale. Behind the book is a board game box.
PS: I've kind of skimmed past the Rosharan map in the ebooks, the page was either not there at all or didn't render properly and looking at the properly sized one in the book now... color me facepalming all over the place, with a lot of oohs and uuhs as two years of SA knowledge have realigned with the proper headings and cardinal directions.
https://lab401.com/ (I guess one of the bigger supplier/e-shop of hacking tools in EU) has a sale going on.
If you are interested you can check it out but I have another question, has anyone actually found the hamster?
I've even started scouring the page sources, considering the nature of the site it wouldn't be unusual to have it hidden literally but no bueno.
The 200EUR hamsters were gone within few hours so I must be doing something wrong or...

E: Hoping to get the Chameleon Ultra for this christmas and this seems to be the only official/renown seller of them in EU (open to alternatives though!), I know it's rather sub-par compared to the Proxmark but PX is currently overkill for me and I love how cute and small the CU is.
I've remembered this exists and there seems to be some very recent activity in the repo so if you didn't know what was possible with TUI graphics now you know! (recommended watching with sound :)
My PCs encountered a vampire. The barbarian successfully trips the vampire and then grabs her.
Que the vampires turn and I am thinking about using the vampires special vapor form, Turn To Mist to get rid of the conditions - there is nothing preventing the vampire using it, it's not even manipulate.
But some of my well-versed-in-rules players seemed to really dislike it, mainly the "free" getting up (which I countered with the polymorph trait, you are getting magically reformed).
In my book it still costs 2 actions (physical to gas then gas to physical) same as removing the grabbed and then Standing up would, it does bypass rolling the fortitude check and any reactive strikes though.
For me, the most interesting point was the short mention of open sourcing Factorio (around 2:40). Kovarex seems to be very much open to the idea, he mentions that (as an approximation) maybe two years after the DLC after things calm down ...
