Which system(s) are you itching to play but haven't yet?
I've been meaning to run a Savage Worlds game for the longest time, mostly hoping for a Weird West, classic fantasy or a XCOM/SCP kinda game, but nothing has ever come of it.

I have never read a book recreationally and I love fiction.
His Majesty's Dragon, the first book in the Temeraire series, is a really fun fantasy take on the Napoleonic wars with dragons.
