Hey, I'm happy with my SV06 using Marlin + Octoprint for the past few months.

I'd recommend upgrading both the part and extruder cooling fans. Also the factory linear bearings are not great.

All in all, you sound confident in upgrading It, and it's a very good base budget option IHMO.

Yeah broken, but just the url, just search for tag:whatever in the search field, or when clicking on a tag on a model page and redirected to the 404 page, change all to models (eg. change https://www.printables.com/search/all?q=tag:toy to https://www.printables.com/search/modesl?q=tag:toy)

Hey, I had issues with usb connection with a totally different printer and octoprint, but with similar symptoms.

In that case the issue was the 5V on the USB connector that caused the problem.

Try a little piece of electric tape to mask the 5V band on the USB-B connector.
