Why is this the Windows 95 logo with the XP name photoshopped in?

Maybe a bit atypical but my favorite book is probably Homo Faber by Max Frisch.

And also tell them you dont appreciate “lol” as a response to a work suggestion.

Not sure if you're joking but the answer isn't "lol" it's ".lol?" because the tld of the website ends in lol (anubis.techaro.lol)

Wish that would happen to me :(

Ubuntu Pro gives you 5 more years of security updates for versions that are EoL. You can see it here if you scroll down to the maintenance schedule https://ubuntu.com/security/esm

Timbaland promotes AI music. I think that might have something to do with it.

Is this a 🚗 joke I am too 🚲 to understand?

the thing can run on your premises completely

lighthouses that do the initial intros

Sounds like these lighthouses must be provided by somebody else which makes it not entirely on my premises anymore.

Funny that Goering would say that. A guy known to be fat.

He was never successfully assassinated but there were definitely a lot of attempts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_attempts_on_Adolf_Hitler

Genug Internet alles für heute.

Cool idea but I wonder if there are actually any practical applications where you couldn't just use a regular solar panel instead.

I have never attempted this but to me it sounds like it might lead to weird issues if nfs is slow for some reason and it will definitely make your nextcloud instance slower. You can easily just try it out though. Copy the docker compose project, start another mariadb instance with its data directory mounted from the nas. That way you can figure it out yourself.

Personally I would just back up the database to the nas regularly. Yes if your laptop fails this requires copying data. You already need to install an os on the new laptop and pull the git repo so having one more step of copying the data should be easily doable in my opinion. Especially since you hopefully don't plan on having your laptop break all the time.

How often are you planning on selling a house though? Don't you plan to live in it forever?

Wait I don't understand how changing your CNAME to A records resolved your problem. Did your wife's computer simply not resolve the CNAME records?

Who plans a party "tonight" at 3am? Shouldn't you already be there or even slowly planning to go home?

Gab es das schon einmal in einer anderen Gemeinde? Ich mag mich erinnern schon einmal was in der Art gelesen zu haben. Speziell den Teil mit den Deko-Palmen.

Interesting. In my country most people rent so typically if you can afford to buy or build a house you plan to live in there until you die. Sure sometimes circumstances change but the concept of owninc a starter home is completely alien to me.
