Why is Lemmy, with a tiny fraction of Mastodon's MAU, more fun than Mastodon?
@bruhbeans RNG. Also "fun" is subjective. Some of it is just cultural too. Mastodon has a certain “vibe" that has persisted since its early days while Lemmy's vibe is more imported from the more fun/wild days of Reddit.

What's your favourite indieweb website?
@claim_arguably My favorite personal site is https://henry.codes/. It definitely counts as “indie” but since it’s made by a professional designer it doesn’t quite have that old web feel if you know what I mean. I think my favorite in that style would be https://anhvn.com/. All my favorite IndieWeb sites are listed here though if anyone would like to peruse https://shellsharks.com/blogroll#favorite-indieweb-sites 🤗

Asset and Vulnerability Scanning
@redfox I've used Tenable for a LONG time. Pretty much their entire suite of products. Cost in the enterprise is going to vary on how many endpoints you have and what solutions you need.
As for effectiveness. I think it it has been and continues to be VM/scanning best of breed. Security Center specifically is highly extensible. It should be easy enough to get started with though may take some time to build out more advanced things.
Alts include Qualys and Rapid7.

Slashpage for favs list?
@somegeek No reason you couldn’t put more than 4 in a /top4. Or do /top. Or a totally new slash page of your design! slashpages.net is but a very unofficial guide on a few known slash pages. It isn’t meant to be the decider on what does or doesn’t count. I have a (very much work in-progress) /top4 page and I’ve already linked to other lists I have that aren’t strictly 4-in-length 🤷♂️
