Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Excellent, fun movie. Huge universe to built on. Shame they're probably not continuing the series

What are your favorite examples of 'media within media' (e.g., shows, stories, or movies inside of other shows or books)?
"The Wall" in Solar Opposites. It's arguably better than the main story.

Conservatives
I'm not a Conservative voter myself, but respectfully, I don't think this is the kind of post that belongs here.
I get that a lot of CPC rhetoric is chimpanzees flinging poo at the wall, but there's no substance, not even a call for debate 🤷

Kia is holding imported cars on locked compounds, rather than sell or deliver them.
Was strongly considering a Kia or Hyundai for my next vehicle (I'm a current Hyundai owner), but if this is what it looks like, it's more than sufficient for me to look elsewhere.

Is it just my circle, or has it been a challenge getting into the Christmas/holiday spirit the last couple of years?
Reply in thread
I lost my sister suddenly 2 days before Christmas in 2008. The joy came back — after a fair amount of therapy and contemplation — and over time, life grew around the gaping hole.
A couple of quotes that I keep near me:
Yet, in a bizarre, backwards way, death is the light by which the shadow of all of life’s meaning is measured. Without death, everything would feel inconsequential, all experience arbitrary, all metrics and values suddenly zero.
Mark Manson
When you dull pain and hide it from yourself, you dull your joys as well.
Robin Hobb, Fool's Fate (Tawny Man #3)
All the best for this holiday season, and all the ones that follow.
