Why are lots of people down-voting my post? Is my understanding wrong - granted, I am still learning? Or do they think that AI is only good for us?

Thanks, interesting thoughts. I am trying to understand agentic AI and its potential uses and security risks better. I am also a bit hesitant to let it loose on my laptop, even if you sandbox the thing. I was also amazed how all our executives were pushing us to use AI for everything, without really trying to figure out legitimate use cases that will move the needle and without considering the massive potential costs. Then some of our agents suddenly got switched off, when token budgets were used up faster than expected.

Just my attempt to make sense of stuff. Not sure it really works. Mostly just a whole bunch of thoughts and questions...

Thank you so much. I think it is mostly that a lot of people just link an article, without creating an actual post. I am slowly figuring out how to use it. Currently also trying to log into Lemoa on my Fedora machine. Let's see whether that works.

I will maybe do another post a little later, of how I really feel about AI, its economic and environmental impact and whether all of it is really worth the benefits it can currently provide.

Just to explain, this was meant more as satire, not my actual view of what AI is capable of. I think people are taking it a little too seriously.
