Saying “look strange men” to women doesn’t typically illicit the same response.

I’m trying to point out that if you aren’t a rapist, this comic shouldn’t offend you. It doesn’t criticize men - if it said single men are rapists, then I would be upset too and I’m not single. But it doesn’t. Instead it recognizes that women have good reasons to be scared of men, especially strangers, and so long as you’re not one of those reasons, this has nothing to do with you.

That’s not the punchline. The audience doesn’t even know if the man on the laptop is a rapist, could be a stand up dude. The punchline is that you can’t market sex to women the same way you market sex to men. Why? Well maybe you should ask a woman.
