there are a couple of materials you can try adding to your paint to achieve a similar effect to the Liquitex soft body paints.

By adding a small amount of retarder to your thick paint, you can increase its workability, giving it a more fluid and smooth texture. This can be particularly helpful when you want to work on longer, detailed strokes without worrying about the paint drying too quickly.

Both acrylic mediums and retarders can be found in art supply stores or online, and they come in different brands, so you can choose the ones that best suit your preferences and budget. By experimenting with these additives, you can achieve the desired smoothness in your paint without having to stock up on multiple types of every color.

For me nature. I love being surrounded by nature. Sometimes I just chill on a bench with a coffe or listen to a podcast in a park, while watching the clouds pass by or watching people walk their dogs.

It sounds boring, but really helps to focus my thoughts again.

When it comes to painting fluffy clouds and seamless gradients, using soft-body or fluid acrylic paints can be helpful, along with synthetic brushes that have softer bristles. it's good that you experimented with different paint dryness levels. Experiment on both the brush and canvas to find the perfect balance :)

I like to cycle at least two times a week ~20km, usually in the evening. I also do bodyweight exercises, but not regularly. Other than that I try to eat vegetables and fruits throughout the day, but it's not easy on stressful workdays.
