Guess Empress was right this time.

For anyone who's wondering, I saw within the first few hours there were comments mentioning the weird installer and malware fuckery. The account was VitaminX which I think has since been deleted EDIT THE ACCOUNT HAS NOT BEEN DELETED. Screenshots xposted from a different forum

this aint Mike Vining;

The photos on the internet that identify me as being on General H. Norman Schwarzhopf, Jr., security detail during Operation DESERT STORM is not me. It is William F. "Bill" Cronin III, a friend and co-worker in Delta. I did not do any personal security during my time in Delta. I did conduct security/survivability assessments within the United States and world-wide during my time in Delta.

half way down the additional information on this page:

Reopen the subreddit in restricted mode?

fuck reddit fuck spez and don't open the subreddit. if you absolutely must have something from the sub ask the mods to get it for you

edit i just wanna mention, if you don't realise how bad the bot problem is, and how much worse it is going to get now that ai is taking over, then i think you really need to pay attention

What's the most noteworthy/interesting game repack you've come across?

For me it was downloading Quarantine that i originally had in 1994 on 3DO. Not the game so much, just that i totally forgot copy protection was done via physical codes back then.

here's how it looked, for example the game would give you a Weight and MPH value and you'd have to supply the 3 digit number that corresponds

"This a scan of the "Red Card", a copy protection scheme for Quarantine. This was black text on a deep red background that was hard to copy by black and white copiers of the era. Color copiers, which cost about a dollar a page had to be used. "
