Is there music that alleviates your dysphoria?

sometimes After Laughter or This is Why by Paramore can help me feel more like myself, but most times music is better distraction than alleviation

for the best distraction I just listen to my all time faves: The Black Parade, American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown, Selfish Machines, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, RIOT! etc. Punky loud and angry songs help a lot for me personally as you can see lol

A friend transitioned and it changed my life

this is a great post, and really shows what it takes to be your true self in any context

also that footnote is a mood I caught feelings on a high school friend I hadn't seen in years that transitioned in that time. together for over a year now and I absolutely wanna spend my life with her. go for it :)

personally I have a small electric trimmer and thin them out, tidying them up and making them feel less bushy. plucking or going to a salon for a wax are better ways but thats just how ive always done it

my girlfriend taught me! been slowly refining how I like to do it for a year or so

  • prep! wash your face, shave, do any skincare now (I like using witch hazel personally) dry, and trim your eyebrows (I'll reply to a comment below on how I do that, its pretty simple)

  • put some primer on, never skip primer

  • put a dab of concealer under your eyes, on any acne, on any stubble, and on your nose. use a makeup sponge and spread it till its fairly smooth

  • put one squirt of foundation on your sponge, put a layer of it over your whole face. make sure to blend it over your chin and down your neck a little!

  • pick an eye-shadow color, I usually go with black or match it with my outfit. cover your eyelid with it with a brush (or just kinda do whatever this one is up to you!)

  • eyeliner :D this ones hard, I have stamps for the wings personally but you dont need them. i usually go for a thick line on my eyelid and a little bit coming to the bottom, but you can really just copy a look you like. have some fun with it!

  • brush some mascara on your lashes

  • I sometimes use blush, but not much anymore. when I do I touch up my cheeks and fade up to the outside of my eyes

  • lipstick is always last! its a cherry on top, so I'd skip it until youre confident in everything else :) a light pink is a good everyday look, dark red is nice for when youre dressing up, more fun colors if you're feeling it! i like black personally

as for the products I use:

concealer/foundation: cover girl liquid, match your skin tone

eyeliner: I love the nyx pure black liquid eyeliner

eye-shadow: I use cover girl as well but just pick a pallette you like honestly

blush/primer/mascara: all cover girl

lipstick is any brand you like really, the stick ones are good and I use nyx liquid for the black so I can be more precise

lastly ALWAYS wash/wipe your makeup off at night! i break out so bad if I don't it's terrible.
