The reason for this chain of forks is that the original version (rystaf/mlmym) has been abandoned and the maintainer is unreachable. The FHF, running old.lemmy.world, made a fork to support their instance, but they understandably don't have a lot of time to maintain it.

And I basically just started improving the project and fixing bugs a few months ago, using their version as a base.

I implemented the headers today, so version 26.2.1 should hopefully do this correctly now.

I could only really test it in my deployment, so feel free to let me know if you have any issues!

The Portal games were really good at this. Using the environment to guide the player where they needed to go and then they used lighting to show what you should look at.

Portal 1 did have some red arrows and “this way” signs on the walls, but that actually made sense because there was someone helping the player character out.

The GPL licenses were all written by the free software foundation for the GNU project. But that doesn't make it less worthwhile to contribute to this cause, too :)

As far as I know (and I'm not 100 % sure), no. You don't even need to inform users that you use functional cookies. Most likely because these work for the person using your website, not against them (persisting the session, settings, and so on).
