What else would you expect from a dictator?

Wow, this is bad. I thought this was over when Germany chose not to support it. Apparently not!

Trump's Gestapo is just doing what Gestapos have always done. Beating people in the streets or arresting them and beating them in private and causing fear. Why do tyrants have Gestapo's? To make people too afraid to resist.

No matter how profitable a company is (which doesn't apply here) it can't resist increasing profits even more. They are all like an AI being told to make paperclips and not stopping until they have converted the entire mass of the universe into paperclips.

One has to wonder to what lengths the free-speech-hating UK government will resort after they have outlawed VPN's and realized they can't shut down all VPN's without shutting down the Internet entirely.

I think most people will find that if they make an effort to learn to use Linux well, they will look back in five or ten years and be so glad they did.

I want to know if the Gnostics were right and this really is a prison planet for consciousnesses. The next thing I want to know is how to escape from the prison.

Thanks.

Windows will probably add AI too, so the only option without it may be Linux.

I'm not an expert, but my take on Reticulum is that while it is technically very good, it lacks practicality, because as a new user you have a very difficult time connecting to anyone. It's chief strength and chief weakness at the same time is that it is a protocol for pure peer-to-peer networks.

I don't understand why the new social media laws aren't causing people suffering under free-speech-hating governments to flee to darkweb social media sites where the laws can't be enforced. I know there aren't many social media sites there for non-criminals, but why aren't individuals with the minimal skills required to make hidden-service sites doing so?

Finally someone is saying to Trump administration officials, "No, you can't do whatever the f%^k you want. YOU have to obey the law too."

So you want the Fediverse, where people fled to get away from the commercial Internet, to become just like it?
