How to use LXC containers in Proxmox?
Check out Helper Scripts. These make getting LXCs up and running super easy. This was built by a community member who recently passed away and he turned it over to the community before his passing. Its a great project!

Some garmin models check all of those boxes. And the NFC payment doesn't require you to gave you phone with you.

Sorry if this is covered somewhere but I couldn't find it! I need recommendations on a good starter NAS
Just went through this myself and settled on DIY build. Someone recommended this video, and I followed it very closely. The built was so easy and less expensive than off the shelf. I installed TrueNAS on it and couldn't be happier.

Debrid vs usenet and the *arrs?
Sorry I can't help with your question, but I wanted to ask what features you feel Jellyfin is missing that is keeping you on Plex? I've made the switch, and actually like Jellyfin better.

GrapheneOS is getting Android Auto support
Wow this is incredible, and I will be making the switch! This was the only unavailable feature that I couldn't go without.

Any good alternatives to Home Assistant?
I believe your characterization of the developers is unfair. This appears to be an isolated incident by a single developer, and to take that and paint a picture of the entire team as dickholes isn't right. I'm not even sure judging this individual by his worst day is fair, but that is up to you.

GrapheneOS version 2024123000 released (Adds Support For 2nd-Factor PIN Unlock)
Great update for battery health! Also like the speed improvements for running updates. Usually I have to wait until a time when I don't need my phone for 10 min or so to reboot after an update.

graphenos
Android Auto is the big one for me that does not work on graphene. If they can find a way to get that to work I'd switch immediately.

zwave to Ethernet bridge
If you have a device such as a raspberry pi, you could install zwavetomqtt on there and as long as you can connect that to your mqtt server in home assistant then you can add those devices via mqtt

Proton Contacts app
Bottom of This page says syncing contacts is coming, but it has said that for a long time.
I have a self hosted Nextcloud server that I sync my contacts with. Not sure if that option is in your wheelhouse but its out there

Proxmox Datacenter Manager - First Alpha Release
I think this is really great! I personally run a cluster at home and another offsite for backups. Would be really great to manage them under a single UI.

Garmin daily suggested workouts: how do you manage your heart rate based workout?
It takes practice but you should get better at maintaining a heart rate over time. Need heart rate to go down? Slow down, shorten stride. If a hill is steep enough you may need to walk. Need heart rate to go up? Push the pace!
