To Americans: How far apart is everything in the US?
Distance isn't the only factor to consider. The infrastructure is also very important for determining if a short distance is walkable.
This YouTube channel has lots of great info on the topic https://youtube.com/notjustbikes and this video in particular demonstrations that not even all short distances are necessarily walkable in the US https://youtu.be/uxykI30fS54 @ 4:30 he begins to show a 800m walk in Houston from his hotel to a store.

Jellyfin is not just good... but *better* than Plex now?!
Recently I tried it again because of Plex restriction on more than one user.
What do you mean by this? I don’t recall seeing anything about a change like this.

Really? I grew up in a red town in Massachusetts and I've literally never heard a single person talk about their vote like that ever, let alone suggest that the town should join another state.

What is S3 storage?
The only thing I don't see mentioned in the explanations that already exist is that S3 is a pay for usage service.
I.E. You don't pay for a tier of storage you pay for the gb of storage used. If your usage increases your cost goes up and if your usage goes down your costs go down. Which makes it very easy to set and forget. No need to worry about keeping your data storage under a certain amount or to remember to switch to a lower tier to save money etc.
Granted that can backfire and result in a surprise bill way more than you were expecting but that is usually not an issue especially for medium to large size businesses.

This narrative is frankly anything but bullshit.

Gnome before it does not appeal to me today. Plasma on the other hand was exactly what I was looking for, plus it's actively maintained and updated.
Very confused by this statement, are you implying Gnome isn't actively maintained and updated or am I missing something?

What are you talking about?
Please name one concession given to Democrats on the “Big Beautiful Bill”, you know the one that accomplishes the Republicans real priorities of taxes cuts for the super wealthy, taking healthcare away from people, and giving ICE insane amounts of money at the expense of literally everyone else.
