Sorry I am new to the fediverse and actually mixed up what account I was posting from.

I haven't been a player for super long. The British update wasn't great but it doesn't detract from the other maps. The game still has a lot of potential. I just tell myself that trailer was a result of them accidentally submitting the wrong file of a quick and dirty 'vision' of what they wanted the trailer to look like.

I don't think it will blow up. There will be protests but I don't think it will be notable. Just the usual crazies making noise.

A washing machine doesn't have the torque to seriously injured you. I have been reqatching old Mythbusters episodes and there is one involving a man getting spun while standing in a washing machine. They found that amy substantial weight stops a washing machine from turning and that it is easy to stop with your hand. The motor isn't designed for that.

For what its worth, that paper is referring to injuries to children using a style of machine that hasn't been sold in the US since 1983. But point taken.
