I'm feeling bad for Ricciardo. Not what he needed in his return to the paddock. However excited to see what Lawson can achieve this weekend.

Some interesting quotes from Max:

"I think I learned a lot from the race in Baku how to do some things with the car, how to set it up," Verstappen told reporters at Zandvoort.

"Of course I didn't win that race in Baku but I actually really tried a lot of stuff and different tools in the car and that's why throughout the race it was a little bit inconsistent but at one point I got into a good rhythm with what I found.

"Then I damaged my tyres a bit too much but I was like 'OK, that's quite interesting for the next races' and I basically implemented that and it has helped me on every track," added Verstappen.

More information about the deal itself: "Loan deal on €10m fee plus buy clause for June 2024 worth €20m plus €5m add-ons if Man United want Sofyan to stay on long term."

Interesting bits:

• A four-week lay-off would rule the England midfielder - a £55 million summer signing from Chelsea - out until September 19. That could see him miss the visit of Brighton in United’s first game after the internationals and potentially the club’s first Champions League group game, as well as Saturday’s game against Nottingham Forest and the trip to Arsenal eight days later.
• Ten Hag is hoping to sign another midfielder before the close of the transfer window on Friday week, with Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat of interest while United have also been linked with Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch. But Mount’s injury could complicate any plans to sell McTominay, who has been out of favour under Ten Hag and facing an uncertain future.

With this fee the club can finally realise Amrabat to Manchester United

Buienradar, I find this service more reliable, as I live in the Netherlands. However weeronline.nl and buienalarm.nl are reporting more or less the same. There are even services who are reporting thunderstorm warnings around racestart

I changed the title. I tried to do it initially, but the contents of the tweet was bigger than the allowed characters in the title. I shortened the title and moved the contents of the tweet to the body.

Amrabat on loan could be beneficial for us. Not only financially, but also performance wise. If he doesn't work out, we part ways.

I imagine Dalot at LB for the time being. Maybe Alvaro Fernandez is a shout to keep on, instead of loaning him. Lastly we have Martinez who can play LB, maybe Martinez at LB creates a situation where we can effectively play 3-2-5 in possession.

Kill me now...

Definitely, good deal for all parties I'd reckon.

Fingers crossed that means Amrabat incoming.

Definitely, I think it's happening now. It has to.

Also liking the sell on clauses they are adding to deals makes a lot of sense and is nice little bonus down the line.

Hopefully we can capitalise on those sell-on clauses in two years.

It would take me some time to properly say his name 😆

I just know him from FIFA as he's a Greek goalkeeper in the Portuguese league.

Possible Dean Henderson replacement. Earlier news regarding Dean Henderson leaving MUFC: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1693279846107939233

If Henderson leaves for £15-20M, that would leave £10-15M for other signings. Not a bad deal then.

I hope Albon is able to convert it into a good qualifying.

Hopefully not, it better be Lindelöf.

I know, but as you can see it's still raining two hours before the race. It's 16 degrees and cloudy, which means the racestart is still wet.

Well yes, but there was sun and running cars on track.
