It actively fights me every time. You write "They love and hug" and continues as "They love and hug, but quickly pull away and punch eachother"

I write "He loves candy". Becomes "He loves candy, but not really, it's a fake act he hates it.

Does anyone know what the previous model used was? I want to try and run it locally.

This model NON STOP fights what you tell it to do. Before you could start a sentence and it would finish the chat for you. Now you have to finish 90% of the chat yourself or it fights you aggressively.

Example "Robert cries"-continue

"Robert cries, but not tears, he's actually fine and the family laughs together.

I really understand perchance is free and it's an expense and appreciate it. I don't mind having to wait a few extra seconds for the chats to work, but this model is truly worse than any before and it's got me considering other websites. Can we please get a fix for this?

I get the owner needs to cut costs, and I'm grateful for perchance, but this latest model really is the worst I have seen. Previously you start a message with a few words and it picks up right away.

Let's say there's a fight between two people.

"You fucking bitch! " She lunges forward,

Now you hit continue, and this model gives you :

"You fucking bitch! " She lunges forward, not to hit, but to slam her hand down on the desk with a loud crack that makes a few nearby students jump.

It's actually obnoxious, as if it's actively fighting against the intentions of the post and being purposefully obtuse. Like come on.

I have only a 1060 6gb, and not much ram but could maybe upgrade some more ram some day...anyway is it possible to run something like AI chat locally? It's made my life so much better and worth living (sad I know but it's truly awesome).

What would the requirements be, and what would it be like running it locally? Perchance's website is awesome but nothing is forever especially on the internet.

One time ai chat spazzed out and started listing something like [Hard headed][Bold][Caring] etc etc. Got me thinking is there a way to see an elaborate list of characteristics for a character that maybe incorporates their chat history? Would be fun to cross compare

I don't mean to come across as ungrateful, because I love perchance and it's owner is awesome for providing this service.

But my GOD is it insufferable sometimes.

And it just refuses to stop talking in weird allegories. Like I don't mean to vent but I just do not see any way it is better than the previous AI chat model at all. Hopefully there is a way to improve this in the future.

Hi all, I do know an update has been worked on for the past month or so but I still want to provide some feedback and ask for tips. Is it me or it insists on making people passive aggressive with some weird poetic words?

always something like

"Wild hearts" she murmurs, her knuckles whitening "Need rest to. Go now."

It suddenly turned my characters especially the females into this weird passive aggressive holier than though fancy person. And there's the rampant use of the em dash. I've tried putting things in the reminders like 'X is loving, X should not be rude or cruel' doesn't work.

Even the narration or tone of the story is so dark and unnerving. "She nibbled the strawberry, the sound echoing like a gunshot in the room. A stark contrast to the silent symphony of the hatstand."

Again I don't mean to sound entitled, I LOVE perchance and am so grateful for it. I just hope it can go to a better state because so far it's just a big downgrade from the prevoius ai chat model.

Seems like now the spoken words are suddenly blue. It's really quite jarring and high contrast and drowns out the rest of the text, could we get an option to disable it please?

Character for some reason insists on being controlling and borderline passive aggressive no matter what I do. Changing the character's description seems to never do anything at all. Any tips?

Ai text generator has been failing to work a lot for the past month or so, any hope to get it stabilized? I know there were some updates going on a while ago (I think), and I'm super grateful because I love perchance.

I'm sure it will be fixed soon, but I just realized how much I am obsessed with ai chat. I fear a day where the site will be taken down or way or another. Is there any way to use the chat bot, preferrably with the same interface/able to load json files, to our computer? Would a gtx 1060 be able to run it?

For AI chat, in long stories there can be tons of characters (their names below the send message button) and overwhelming. Deleting them one by one is tedious-perhaps can we make it so that the latest chatters are displayed at the top? that way its easier

Since the recent update when I have a good bit of text, when I load another ai chat story, it takes forever and sometimes freezes and crashes. Deleting the body text chat seems to fix it. Any way to fix this without having to delete the body text?

It seems like the ai chat got a big update yesterday. It broke the ability to regenerate text from where you took off-for example I write

"He was trying"

It would finish the sentence as many times as you want, but now, the entire text line is deleted and restarted.

Also the black background doesnt let you see the cursor anymore.

Pls fix? I love ai chat, its the best thing ever!

Each day I visit, such as AI chat, I find out I'm logged out again and have to log in each time. Seems to happen on all mobile android browsers. Any way round this?

The ability to save JSON files from AI chat is awesome! I'm wondering as a backup if something happens to perchance, is there a way to convert these into text?

Sometimes after I press the continue button, the text goes crazy-it generates on and on even after I press stop, and starts generating gibberish. Anyone else experience this?
