Why is the ai chat text model so WEIRD
Hi all, I do know an update has been worked on for the past month or so but I still want to provide some feedback and ask for tips. Is it me or it insists on making people passive aggressive with some weird poetic words?
always something like
"Wild hearts" she murmurs, her knuckles whitening "Need rest to. Go now."
It suddenly turned my characters especially the females into this weird passive aggressive holier than though fancy person. And there's the rampant use of the em dash. I've tried putting things in the reminders like 'X is loving, X should not be rude or cruel' doesn't work.
Even the narration or tone of the story is so dark and unnerving. "She nibbled the strawberry, the sound echoing like a gunshot in the room. A stark contrast to the silent symphony of the hatstand."
Again I don't mean to sound entitled, I LOVE perchance and am so grateful for it. I just hope it can go to a better state because so far it's just a big downgrade from the prevoius ai chat model.
Here is a rather long guide that more or less tries to explain how to deal with the particularities of the new model. Trying to reason why the seen problems in the LLM happen and how to deal with them.
However, as the model is being worked on as the dev said, probably what is written in that guide would not remain true forever, but as for today I hope that most is covered. Otherwise, if there is a particular instance or "trick" not know, please, let us know!
