They were in the way though...
Anybody remember when we would question whether tweets like this were real or not and would need to check to confirm it?

"New Thing" by PoorlyDrawnLines
Can someone add the “I’m in this photo and I don’t like it” picture because that’s all I can feel from this.

Why we cook at home rule
I used to love getting the dollar menu stuff from McDonald’s and idk if it’s that I turned 30 and suddenly started feeling grumpy about everything but I refuse to go there now that their prices are like this for a “value menu”.

Yes! But now they’re also on Threads, I would’ve put this on Mastodon if they existed there

Love to see it! Welcome to the party! Honestly this is the most I’ve really done anything on social media stuff so I totally get it.

That’s really been one of the reasons I’ve always just been a lurker on social media. The fediverse spaces I’m in (lemmy/mastodon) have been great so far. I didn’t really have any expectations but the experience has been good for me and I hope for everyone else!

Really love to hear that! Back around like 2016-2019 I loved the idea of switching to a Tesla. Couldn’t afford it but always thought it was something to strive for. Well, that is no longer the case for me and I actively encourage people to shop other EV’s if they’re set on them and to avoid anything with his name tied to it.
I feel dumb promoting the dude with a low effort meme, but hearing replies like this I feel makes it worth it.

Whatever it is in our electric skull meat gives us the joy of seeing number go up. The value the number has, that’s another story.
Oh goodness, a Lemmy/Reddit currency exchange sounds like some startup NFT/crypto scheme waiting to happen.

Not my intention, I’m trying to make the point of not purchasing from them due to deceptive pricing but it is still essentially free marketing. Not sure how to bring it up without that being the case

It’s Surprisingly Easy to Live Without an Amazon Prime Subscription

Was one of the people who dropped it after the commercials were added. Started using our library instead and haven’t really missed the video streaming. I’ll log in via a browser every so often and get offered a free month or week of prime and immediately cancel. Was able to access prime day deals without paying for anything.

Yo, ho! Yo ho! A pirates life for me...
I thoroughly regret not building up a physical media library over the past decade to throw into Jellyfin or something to avoid all the streaming services. facepalm
