I got busy and didn't take my money immediately after completing a few projects and one of my clients complained to Paypal about my service. My account was immediately locked and it took me at least 3 months to get access back to my account.

They basically had 15k of my money, interest free for them to play with even tho the contested amount was $500. I ended up just eating the 500 just to get access to my account, even tho the client is still using the improvements I made to their site.

He had a container that he was about to send but cancelled it because his margin is less than 10% and his stores he supports also runs a lean margin.

Last week he decided to close one of his warehouses in Portland, letting go of 20 people and a few hundred stores that depend on him.

When asked why he doesn't just up the price, he said that if he did, the mass majority of the stores he supports won't make it and the Oregon warehouse is barely breaking even.

Fiest time I had to do the pledge, I just got to America from Taiwan and I honestly thought the pledge was a Christian/religion thing because of the "....under god" thing. So I told my teacher that my family is Buddhist and can't do the pledge.

I live in Taiwan and met a guy yesterday who is moving to Taiwan because Austin is a "liberal hell hole".

When pressed on any issues about Trump, his answer was that Biden is worse than Trump. When I asked about Harris, he just mentioned she will just copy Biden.

The funny thing is that Taiwan is by far more liberal and more progressive than Austin Texas. He seemed to like the universal healthcare and the many social services. He didn't mind the high corporate taxes companies have to pay.

My assessment is that he is only basing his vote on vibes and feels alone. Judging from the conversation, he is more of a Bernie supporter.

My dad remarried a China-nese lady after my mom passed away. He voted for Trump in 2020 and 2024. I love this lady like my own mom, but the leopard is coming in to eat soon.

I had a down payment for a Cybertruck and I passed on it when my number was called even tho my son is in love with it and I need a new vehicle.
