THIS always annoys me.
The reason they ask for donations is because they can pool the donations together, say they’re donating, and then get a tax write off. They are just trying to make free money.

Valérie Plante transformed Montreal
As a Montrealer, just letting people the next election is not looking good.
The current opposition party Ensemble Montreal wants to undo her work, increase the amount of AirBnb’s, and is made up of incredibly Zionist, right wing, anti vax, etc leaders. They are currently polling really good, even if they are commuting many violations with their sign placements.

Never seen it described as magazine like but you are 100% right. As a game dev I enjoy twitter-likes for this exact reason. Its very easy to find specific people you want to work with (ie artists, musicians, etc.) and network with them. Its also easier to market and share your game due to the 'magazine' like and fast paced nature of these platforms. However I do think twitter-likes suck if you aren't using it for specific cases like this.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard pull music off Spotify over 'evil tech bro' ownership

Been alternating between Deezer and Qobuz and it’s hard picking between the two. Deezer has basically the same library as Spotify while Qobuz is missing notable classics like Cornelius and etc. But Qobuz UI and sound quality is so much better.

Damn, I didn’t know I was duped. I do wonder how this holds up in countries other than the US.

BAFTA Crowns Shenmue "The Most Influential Video Game Of All Time" In Surprise Result | Time Extension

I think the point is that GTA3 would likely not exist the way it did without Shenmue. Shenmue was a life sim with a hyper interactive 3d world with tons of different gameplay mechanics, non-playable characters with schedules, day and night cycle. It had a hyper cinematic story with dynamic cutscenes (interactive cutscenes), 3d melee combat, just a ton of stuff that no one was really doing at the time.
The game itself left no impact on gamers because of how 'weird' it was, but devs completely changed the way they make games. GTA3 as an example.
EDIT: Reading the list, they specifically mention then "Living and alive world" aspect of the game. Something at the time was novel, but every modern AAA game has tried to achieve.

Newsflash: yes it is because what happens is people begin thinking non neutral ideas are neutral and assume there’s no bias to said ideas when there clearly is which is the whole point of this article

Newsflash: It's impossible to be neutral, since defining what's neutral involves some form of bias from whose defining.
