I saw this band play live last night and they were incredible. This EP goes hard.

After a few years with no news, they've come out with this release and I love it immediately.

What a tune.

One of my best friends recently shared this album with me in her top 10 of 2024 list, and I haven't stopped listening to it since.

I've had this palm for a few years and it's been fine. I water it once a month, don't move it around too much and make sure the soil doesn't get waterlogged.

A month or so ago I noticed it starting to droop, and the soil was still very wet despite not having recently watered it. As a precaution I removed it from the damp soil and repotted it with fresh houseplant compost mix. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have improved the plant's health 😢

Is there anything else I can try?

The title track from the debut album of Insomnius Dei, an Australian death/doom metal band from one of the bandmembers of The Eternal.

Someone has unearthed two demos from the Pretty Hate Machine era: a demo of Sin and a studio version of Maybe Just Once. The only other version of Maybe Just Once is a "live in the studio" recording on the Purest Feeling bootleg, so this newly found version is especially interesting.

It's great to hear these demos, even if they're only 50 second clips.

I like to think of this as "opium den metal".
