The problem with Apple is that it holds a monopoly on its platforms. On Windows, if you don’t like Steam or its pricing, you can go to Epic, GOG, or other storefronts. You can buy physical. On non-macOS Apple devices, you’re stuck with the App Store because Apple doesn’t allow competing storefronts.

Apple is third in the world by revenue in gaming (behind Tencent and Sony, and ahead of Microsoft), without being a developer or publisher. This is all thanks to the combination of its 30% cut and lack of competition.

Ich gurke beruflich mit einem iPhone und Apple Arcade rum, was ein ziemlich guter Deal ist, da das ganze P2W vornherein rausfliegt. Vermutlich ist der Google Play Pass dem nicht unähnlich. Viele meiner Favoriten gibt es aber auch für Android. Generell funktioniert für mich persönlich alles, was keine virtuellen Joysticks braucht und für den Touchscreen optimiert ist, bspw. Kartenspiele, Aufbau und rundenbasierte Taktik:

Ich hab in München noch nicht so wirklich einen Benchmark. Bei mir ein paar Straßen weiter in Milbertshofen gab es einen Döner, der von Frauen geführt wurde, was ich in dieser Branche mehr als ungewöhnlich ist. Der war jetzt nicht super geil, aber voll in Ordnung, und deshalb hab ich den gerne supportet. In Frühjahr hat er dann zugemacht, zunächst für Umbau, dachte ich, aber nö, komplett geschlossen und durch einen generischen anderen ersetzt, wo jetzt nur nervige Typen abhängen.

Dann fand ich den Döner im Sperrengeschoss der U Münchner Freiheit eigentlich ganz gut, aber ich hab die Befürchtung, dass das so ein „Betrunken Hunger gehabt und für gut befunden“-Döner ist. Schlecht ist er zumindest nicht.

Mein aktueller Go-to-Döner ist „Ora Kebap“ an der Kreuzung Moosacher Str./Riesenfeldstr. Der ist voll in Ordnung und kostet immer noch 6 € – Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis kaum zu schlagen in diesen schwierigen Zeiten.

Yeah, I’ve been using mine since launch and it looks fine, too, but I carry it in my pocket with no other items inside. OP says it’s their wife’s phone, so maybe she’s carrying it in her purse and other items significantly increase the wear?
