What obscure tips do you have for new and old players alike? Here's mine: If you hit all the bulbs on these glow trees, they'll stay brightly lit forever.

You can use your pickaxe to unfreeze frozen team mates. a power attack will free them instantly. Sadly you can not free rockpoxxed team mates.

If you shoot a zipline into the exit drop pod you can grab it on mission completion. You can then jump off the zipline and move around, and even leave the drop pod. If the mission finishes and you are outside of the drop pod you will lose a survival bonus. If all dwarves leave the drop pod you will fail the mission.

You can also grab onto ziplines to escape Grabbers and Stingtails.

You can hold "E" to grab onto ziplines and piperails instead of tapping. I didn't know that as a greenbeard.

You can reduce and complete lithophage objectives without cleaning tools. You can use your pickaxe to destroy the boils instead. I have found this useful when there's a small amount left to clean and the cleaning tools have fallen down a cliff. Not recommended to do the whole thing this way.

Advice/tips/guides for a new scout?

Grapple, grapple, grapple.

During combat, especially in Haz 5, you should be using your grappling hook constantly to move away from enemies. Your high maneuverability makes you the most likely to survive a tough wave. With either frost or boomerang grenades you can disable the swarm around a dead team mate long enough to revive them.

Your weapons are great at picking off long distance enemies, so look up and keep the acid and web spitters off your team while they clear the masses of melee enemies.

Learn to grapple and then pickaxe a hole above nitra veins. It will save you a lot of time versus waiting on a platform.

Keep in mind you are not the sole miner of nitra. If your teammates are pinging ground level nitra and walking away please call them out on it, or leave them dry and join a new lobby.

Most of all have fun! :)

So now that season 4 has been out a bit, what are your thoughts?

It's been great so far! Lots of new voice lines! I'm conflicted on the stingtail. Cool enemy but I wish it would have a glowing spot so you could see it before it snipes you in the dark. At least the mactera grabber has to get in melee range, stingtail can be anywhere. Thankfully the squeaky toy noise will put you on high alert.

I feel like the Spreader is tough but fair. The corruptor is fun, but the difficulty of it largely depends on terrain complexity.
