...because they knew about the vulnerability since 2024 and simply forgot about it.

Games with loot boxes and other "paid random items" re-rated PEGI 16 as new rules come into force, hopefully cutting down on kids gambling somewhat

On a more serious note, in your world, what are kids with shitty parents supposed to do?
They are not supposed to do anything and I never said that. That is part of kid agencies to individually detect and combat these things.
Isn't it a little bit of society's responsibility to ensure that it isn't easy for kids aren't chasing the next big win?
Oh Mr Politican don't give me the "Think about the children" talk with no other practical solution then introducing a surveilance state.
Totally stupid idea that the Netherlands implemented a decade ago: (paid) Lootboxes are illegal in the first place. Problem magically solved because guess what: No "gambling" in the first place.

This won't solve the problem and makes everything worse:

Tim Sweeney (Epic Games CEO) has a Twitter meltdown
I write code
Ah of course, now it all makes sense. If you let mentally disabled CEOs create a launcher it will always suck.
Again Steam wins by doing basically nothing.

Is anyone self-hosting their own AI?
No, I prefer using my brain or other things that usually work 100x more efficient without hallucinations and don't required a shit ton of RAM that are way to expensive to buy right now.

I just updated to Windows 11 and oh boy has it gotten worse when compared to 10...
The UI, useless spacing in between items, 2nd context menu, gigantic bars on top, the somehow missing create folder button, OneDrive Integration, "Pin to quick access" everywhere, freezing up when creating thumbnails, constantly somehow resetting the layout of the user home and I'm just getting started... But hey it got tabs now

META POST: MOTION TO MAKE A RULE THAT CROPPING THE ARTIST'S SIGNATURE IS AGAINST THE RULES
The way to hell is paved with good intensions...
The current proposal is not specific enough: With your proposal every post effectively requires an artist signature. There will always be some valid reason why there is none. Also who should check/enforce this? The single non-existing mod? xD
Keep it simpler and make a rule that says: Content created by somebody else requires attribution.
Attribution could be an artist signature in the comic, the name of the artist in the description or a link to the original source in a comment.

Are these real vulnerabilities or are these "When Mars and Jupiter are aligned next to each other and you compile the kernel backwards X might crash" ones?

Dutch authorities allegedly seize VPN server without a warrant — company claims that law enforcement will return it after analyzing the device fully
Too sumarize the article:
US clickbait and ad infested news website directly quotes "trust me bro" Twitter post + describes in 2 sentences what a ramdisk is and does zero real "journalism" like maybe contacting mentioned dutch authorities or Windscribe themselfs.
Once again: Ban Tom's Slopware. Post the original source instead.

Several vulnerabilities
Hmm yes "vulnerabilities".
My personal highlight: https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/cve-2026-43073
Rename misleadingly named '__copy_user_nocache()' function. This function was a masterclass in bad naming, for various historical reasons. It claimed to be a non-cached user copy. It is literally neither of those things.

Americans embrace Aldi as German discounter becomes fastest-growing supermarket in US
Fun Fact: Around 30 years ago, Walmart tried to get into the German market and got completely obliterated.
Then the German discounters counterattacked and the rest is history.
Fun Fact2: This is just Aldi Süd(South). Aldi Nord(North) is also active in the US as Trader Joe.
