Advice for a middle-age, moderately pc knowledgeable person to finally switch to or become proficient with Linux?
I dual boot Fedora and Windows on my PC, have had a good experience so far. I would say Fedora is beginner friendly and is a good choice for a distro, everything just works.

Iirc you can install games or apps from an .exe installer using lutris. You can check ![email protected] for help with pirating games with Linux.

Fedora 38 and Windows 10 on dual boot, though I mostly just use Fedora.

Do you have any games that you like but you never finished?
Fallout 4. First started playing on console and got quite into it but I never finished the main story. I do remember hating playing shooters on console so maybe that's the reason. Been looking to get it on PC and finally finishing it.
