Minority group supporting fascist leader who is persecuting minorities different from him think persecuting a fellow minority group will keep them from being persecuted by the fascist leader they support and are surprised when it doesn't work.

There is no software that does theming for GRUB that doesn't break it badly and was stopped mid development and GRUB 2.0 takes deep knowledge of how it works to theme it without breaking it.
Hell the little bit of theming they added to Ventoy has them slowing GRUB updates to make sure that it is tested and tested again before they roll it out and break everyone's install without knowing it.
I plan on doing it but I really don't have time for it right now or any time in the future.

This post was made by King right after Kamala did a rally in Michigan and used that phrase to trash some Anti-Genocide Pro-Palistine protesters who she first said that "OK I'm Speaking" and then told them to keep it up if they wanted Trump to win. This is after she had had met with muslim leaders and protest leaders and was giving them the run around.
Caitlin Johnstone who is famous for hosting Democracy Now and has been covering the genocide in depth, saw Steven King post this and thought, as many other people did, that it was referring to what she did to the protesters . Then people in the know started to inform us that it was in reference to something she said during the Presidential Debate 4 years ago. Something that her team should take into account and do away with that merch for a while.

Boy accidentally smashes 3,500-year-old jar on museum visit
Putting an object out where patrons can interact with it one thing... putting out jars that are surprisingly intact after 3 and a half millennia is just damned irresponsible if you ask me.

That is a percentage score. So you take the highest level of searches and it will always be 100% and all lesser scores are in comparison to that score of 100(%). If you can find out what the actual number of searches are for that one score, you can derive the approximate number of searches in the other places. It shows an informational tool tip on desktop.

Marques Brownlee says ‘I hear you’ after fans criticize his new wallpaper app
Marques Brownlee: "Don't pay for what something will be, pay for what it is now" and "I don't review what will be, but what a product is now"
Also Marques Brownlee: "Pay the subscription fee now for the unnamed unspecified features this will have other than just wallpapers now to fund future development"
Who knew the next company he would "kill" would be his own. The only way to find his app on Android is to use the link from his site because of the generic name.
BTW Wallpaper Engine, which has an android app, is currently $5 Canadian, and I am told with Proton can also work on Linux PC's and has an huge amount of modifiable wallpapers.

Bluesky’s active user base is shrinking as its focus expands beyond the app: 10.4 million monthly active users worldwide in June 2026, down 27.2% year-over-year.
There is a considerable number of users that stopped using Bluesky because of the Age Verification. I think that is playing a significant issue, along with corporate accounts being few and far between compared to Twitter. I really liked how it was set up vs my Mastodon and Twitter account I keep for contests and giveaways. It is a shame they had to go fascist like that.

Monkeys will never type Shakespeare, study finds
CLICKBAIT the theory goes "if given an infinite amount of time, a monkey pressing keys on a typewriter would eventually write the complete works of William Shakespeare." and then they say that would take longer than the universe would exist. SEE THE ORIGINAL QUOTE... INFINITE TIME. Also that is if it went through every combination. Due to Random Chance it could happen the 3rd try of you doing it.
This is a nothing burger of a story about some mathematicians that crunched some of the numbers involved and didn't like what they saw.

For those who don't know the song, the song narrates what a person who has just heard from the news from a sobbing news anchor, that the world has 5 years to live and there is nothing anyone can do, and how this knowledge breaks some people and how it haunts and makes people think of what they can do for the next 5 years moments after hearing the news.

Flock Said Its Cameras Don't Track People. Then a Reporter Proved Them Wrong On Video
Reply in thread
Its not "Search and Siezure" it is "Searches" and "Siezures". It violates the "Searches" part and the only way to work around is a warrant. A "search" is not only to search a person's house, but to subject a person to being followed and tracked day in and out needs a Judicial Warrant in most circumstances because you are violating the subjects right to privacy.
In the case of Flock they could set up cameras and have trained people watch them, and that is iffy at that, but once it is autommatically stored and cataloged everything everyone does and where they go, and can be used to unwind everything a person does quite litterally like Big Brother, and then you can put that in a data base where the police can litterally do fishing expeditions after the fact to make a case, or the AI can just spit out a name that got a well known car reviewer seconds away from getting his life ended by a police officer because it mixed his plate with annother, that is an entirely different kettle of fish.
I is like the famous saying of the head of the Polish Secret Police "You show me the man and I will show you the crime". It is because of this you have a right to not talk to the police and legally speaking any little thing you say or respond to "...can and will be used against you in a court of law.". If you try hard enough you can come up with multiple crimes for anyone.
