Why don't public restroom stalls have OPEN/OCCUPIED indicators like porta potties do?
TIl us North Americans apparently are the only ones with this problem...

What's something you used to do/see/say but don't anymore because you don't feel it's right?
When I was in middle school a friend of mine used to dress up and call herself a gypsy. Due to where we live, we didn't know that word was tied to a real life culture. We thought it meant fantasy-like hippies.
Years later I found out the actual meaning behind it and freaked out. Sadly I wasn't still in contact with her by that time, or I would've told her. Though her parents would've complained about it...

Riding a horse is sexual now
Oh ew. That's far from true. If you accidentally slam your junk on a hard surface you aren't going to be happy. I've done that a few times while riding a horse. Shit can hurt bad.

What would be your dream theme park?
A park set in a old-growth forest with the rides built around the trees. Shaded and wild feeling. Waterslides and rapids would be extremely fun.

A furry subreddit bans defending zoophilia/pedophilia. This surprisingly turns out to be a highly unpopular decision.
As a furry, this is unfortunately a large problem in the fandom as of now. We are constantly searching for these fuckers to get them banned from social media sites and conventions. It's practically impossible to keep up on twitter, nevermind if they find out you have a report page for others to know about them.
Having to report people for posting bestiality and csam is the easy part. It's disturbing how much these people will argue day in, day out how these topics don't affect anyone. There's been an uptick of minors proclaiming they're zoophiles. Most following these content makers.
It's an uphill battle for us...

What are some things that disgust you irrationally?
Roasted or fried chicken. Something about the strong smell just whips my brain into anger and disgust. I can't think, talk or smile once I smell it. Especially in a enclosed space.

Not many people admit to being offended by something that someone said. When was a time you actually felt hurt and/or insulted by someone?

Jesus christ. The nerve of some people.

Have you ever had a bad gut feeling about a (generally well-liked) person that ended up being totally justified? If so, what happened?

What common grocery item(s) is it absolutely fine to buy the cheap/unbranded version of?
In Canada, No Name Brand. All the products are in non eye-catching packaging, and are quite cheap. They are quite popular with the college and university housing crowds.

Okay that's way more interesting, why would a company block a whole country??

Ya I would never be able to reclaim it for myself. For my whole life it was used only as a strong negative.
It's the same for my wife and queer. It's a word she can't use to describe herself without thinking of old mystery books. "Well that's quite queer"

I'm a bit late, but try out a motion-activated sprinkler. That and inedible/smelly plants surrounding your garden. Works like a charm for my parents.

What was your biggest childhood fear and do you have it to this day?
Reply in thread
Oh god the grates in pools! A local rec centre has a wave pool and there's this wall long grate protecting swimmers from the wave machine. The grate is tall as I am and is in deep water, it honestly still scares me.

As an adult that's honestly funny, but I could see myself also having the same fear.

DAE suffer when the temp swings by 30° in a single day?
Oh man, This summer was baaaad for me. The temperature was doing the same here. Up and down, dry then humid. My body yearns for autumn.
