Meaning, the structure is is set and almost all elments found, including some (theoretical) higher-number elements that still have to be securely "discovered". Well, I am also a "newbie" for OSM. But for building outline mapping it's done on OSM editors, not with the StreetComplete app. So not sure if this can be automated. Most work is done manually, I believe. Hey, there! Not sure if strangers from the internet can give you good advice ... but here is my 50 cents:

1. Maybe you have a "careers office" at your uni (or the major uni nearby) giving some directions and showing options?
2. Maybe the public (un-)employment office has some councelling for young academics and/or a "career information bureau" in your area?
3. Find out the 3-5 most used job offer platforms in your area, e. g. "LinkedIn", "Monster" or so to browse the market and see what is required. This way you get a feeling what you could do and what not.
4. Prepare for a long search; a "long breath" might be needed. So maybe you need to consider a temporary, simple work to bring in some money while you are searching for "the best" position.
5. If possible, get in touch with some folks in the fields and places you wish to be/work. Ask for their open positions, the requirements and interships or trial working opportunities. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Usually, in the StreetComplete App, you only add what is missing to one specific object. (As far as I have understood.) If you want to make sure that all parking spots in the neighbourhood are equally set, you have to double-check in the OSM web-editor. (That's how I do it.)

Interesting feature, surely possible. I have seen that on "Threema". Of course, secured by two layers of passwords/-phrases and strict connection procedure.
