Just read an erotic romance, Heart of the Mountain by Snek Guy. It is about a mercenary going up a mountain to slay a dragon and take her hoard of gold. Things don't go quite as he planned. It was well written, but a bit too much smut for my taste. I wrote a bit more here.

Just started the My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror series.

I'm the other way. At the moment I'm generally not interested unless there is a good romantic plot with a HEA. It seems like a "you can have both" good fantasy and romance situation.

I have a strange relationship with Gideon the Ninth. I didn't like much of the book as I was reading. After after I finished reading the book stuck in my mind, and I found my self liking it more the more I thought about it. I don't really know why. The result was, I liked having read the book more than I liked reading it.

The Essential Rumi. It is the first time I've read poetry in a log time. I'm enjoying it more than I anticipated.

This is on my TBR, and I actually recommended it to someone recently because they wanted more monogamous monster girl stories. I should bump this up on my list.

I'm gonna start The King's Man by Elizabeth Kingston. It is a buddy read in one of my discord servers.

This is harem right. It looks mostly contemporary? I wonder how the author "justifies" the harem to the reader without the usual fantasy world culture stuff.
