This was the first song I learned on bass, aged maybe 15, where I suddenly felt like I was doing something exciting. The way Flea slaps goes so hard. You wouldn't expect it to work on a fairly laid-back Stevie tune but it absolutely does. One of the all-time great covers for me.

I think he scratches the itch that we've had ever since Eriksen left. We've really struggled to be creative in the middle third since he left, and from what I've seen of Maddison that's something he can definitely offer. Feel like this could be an important part of us playing decent football again.
