Je n'attends pas vraiment une réponse ici et la solution ça sera sûrement de recourir à une aide professionnelle. C'est ce que je vais faire mais en attendant ça m'aide d'en parler.

Ça a commencé par des crises de panique, un jour je me réveille la nuit en pensant qu'il faisait très chaud et j'allume la climatisation mais j'ai toujours chaud mais pas de fièvre et j'avais de mal à respirer. Le seul truc qui a pu me calmer est de sortir de chez moi marcher. Depuis j'ai remarqué un changement de mon humour et j'avais un grand voyage de prévu au Japon et c'était un grand stress, alors qu'avant c'était de plaisir.

Le travail m'aidait car ça me fait oublier les choses mais je continuai à me réveiller la nuit et le week-end était une souffrance. J'ai vu mon médecin et me conseille d'aller voir un psychologue. J'ai beaucoup hésité à annuler mon voyage mais j'ai réussi à faire le trajet jusqu'à l'aéroport sans soucis et j'étais même de bon humeur ce jour là.

C'était un long trajet et les crises ont commencé à surgir en y arrivant. Voir autant de monde à la gare de Tokyo ne m'a pas trop aidé. J'ai pris mes médicaments qui ont aidé sur le moment. Mais j'avais aucun plaisir à y être là bas ni à manger quoi que ce soit. Le deuxième et troisième jour était similaires même si j'ai pu rencontrer des gens et passer de bons moments le matin. Mais la nuit était dure et je me réveille encore à 3h de matin. J'ai décidé alors de prendre le premier avion de 9h pour rentrer chez moi. Même l'avion avait 2h de retard au départ, juste avant le décollage on se rend compte d'un problème technique et on refait demi tour.

Là je suis chez ma famille et je sens vraiment la dépression et je vois le psychologue pour la première fois de ma vie la semaine prochaine.

Le déclenchement était certainement ma rupture avec la fille japonaise dont j'en ai parlé ici il y a quelques mois. Pendant des mois elle a été le seul contact que j'avais. J'étais toujours seul mais ça ne me dérangeait pas trop. On échangeait toujours un message par jour et d'après ses messages on était vraiment un match sur beaucoup de choses. Mais je découvre par la suite que ce n'est pas de tout le cas et elle dit toujours oui car c'est comme ça au Japon.

En Avril, après que j'ai compris qu'elle n'était pas intéressée j'ai passé une semaine où j'étais triste et après je me suis remet. Elle m'envoie un message quelques jours après et s'excuser et je lui dit qu'elle aurait dû me le dire avant. Et là elle repart dans ses excuses qu'elle est intéressée mais pas tout de suite mais elle ne veut même pas s'appeler. On s'arrête là et me dit d'en parler à son retour au Japon durant l'été.

Elle ne m'a jamais contacté et c'est là où j'ai fais l'erreur de reprendre contact avec elle. On commence à discuter et j'ai bien compris qu'elle n'est pas intéressée. Un jour on discutait d'un truc dont on était pas d'accord et les messages s'arrêtent. Son message arrivait toujours vers 5h de matin et mes crises de panique ont commencé exactement à ce moment là...

Je vais chez le même coiffeur depuis plusieurs années et à chaque fois ça commence par le même rituel où on me dit que mes cheveux ont bien poussé et c'était quand la dernière fois que je les ai coupé. Je vais en général tous les 4/5 semaines et j'ai les cheveux qui frisent.

En parlant de coiffeur il y a un truc qui me surprend, le prix varient entre 10€ à 30€ en France pour la même coupe. J'ai déjà vu des coiffeur à 10€ même à Paris. Dans ma petite commune à moins de 5000 habitants, il y a au moins 7 salons et le prix va de 19 à 30. Celui à 30€ vient juste d'ouvrir et n'a aucun souci à avoir de la clientèle. Je me demande ce qui poussent les gens à aller chez le plus cher, j'ai déjà fait plusieurs coiffeur et je n'ai jamais remarqué une différence mais ma coupe est très simple.

Note that I am only interested in the technical details and I already have alternative for remote access.

As you may know Plex made some changes recently and remote access became a paid feature.

At first I thought that only people using plex.tv who will be impacted as they are using their relay feature. But I was surprised that accessing the server by its public IP is considered as a remote access (it make sense though).

So I thought that putting Plex behind a reverse proxy in the same network will solve the issue. Plex will see a local connection from the reverse proxy and treat it as a direct access. But still Plex detect that as a remote access. I even tweaked the host and headers passed by reverse proxy with no success.

Plex even consider accessing the server using a local domain as a remote access.

So I tested tailscale, I ran it on the server and tried to access Plex using the assigned IP but my access is considered a remote access. Now I ran tailscale on the client and accessing Plex from it is considered a direct access.

At first I thought Plex was checking the url but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Can someone explain me how does Plex detect remote vs local access?

I started setting up a Jellyfin server for friends to allow them watch remotely after the recent changes from Plex.

The experience so far isn't great. Jellyfin seems to have many advanced features than Plex but the essential ones do not work that well.

The library scan took 3 hours for around 6k files. Plex takes much less time than that. There are many people raising this issue for years now but it is still not fixed.

From the logs I see Jellyfin trying to extract images for chapters even though the option isn't checked. I already found reports for such issues but they are closed without an answer.

The big problem for me is Jellyfin not starting and getting stuck (without meaningful logs) at startup each time the server is shutdown. I did the reinstall 5 times now and trying the native install now. From the debug logs it seems like Jellyfin is stuck on one sql query.

From what I have seen, many issues are getting closed because of non activity even when the issue is still there.

I know that the project is done by volunteers but I was just wondering whatever I should invest more time on trying to resolve the issues. Maybe my server specs are just not ideal for Jellyfin.

Je ne connais pas grand chose quand ça concerne le cinéma français. Elle aime tout ce qui est comédie, romantique, policier et thriller. Elle a bien aimé Amélie. I met this Japanese girl in some language forum few months ago and we started exchanging messages on daily basis (but only one message a day). I started liking her as I loved her personality and way of thinking and didn't seem like other Japanese girls (but maybe it is just me having the stereotype image). She is also my type. She studies in a neighboring country. She did come to my country for a visit and met her face to face. Before coming, I asked her if she is single and interested in a relationship and it was the case. So I suggested going on a casual date and she said yes.

When we met, we walked through the city and then went for dinner but nothing fancy or romantic. After that I told her that liked the time we spent together and would like to see her again and going on more dates. She told me that she's not sure but she would like to see me. From her answer, I understood that she wasn't interested.

I didn't bring that subject until we started talking about difference in dating between Japan and western European countries. For her going on a date is not something casual and happen when the relationship in an advanced stage, before that is hanging out. So I asked her if she misunderstood my previous messages and suggested meeting her and hang out and see. She accepted and asked me what made want to see her again. So I told directly that I like and find her cute. She told me that she wasn't aware that I was seeing her in that way. I was a little surprised and I thought it was obvious.

We will be meeting in a few weeks and we started looking for things to do. We will be going to watch a very romantic play she suggested and she even asked if we can watch something together in the place I will be staying.

So I am really confused, those seem like things you do in a second or third date in my country. Or something you just do with a friend. But I don't have too much experience in dating (neither her I think). On my side I won't make any assumptions and will spend time with her as planned, if things feel right I may ask her directly (I won't just hold her hands or kiss her).

I know every experience is different but I would like to know your thoughts on this.
