I've never heard of anyone using Thunderbird, but I hear about other Firefox users all the time.

I want a new email place. FUCK GMAIL 💥 FUCK GOOGLE! I had to use MS Office for work once, it was okay. Better than Gmail by a mile. But you seriously think I'm gonna use Microsoft? Well, what else is there? If Thunderbird is alright I think I should give it a try.

I also need to find a way to make a new not-gmail email domain. No idea where to go for that. Uh, does Thunderbird have anything?

It's schizophrenia with concurrent mood disturbance. Why does it need its own code?

I just reread the DSM entry on it and I'm annoyed. They talk plenty about how to distinguish it from Schizophrenia and from mood disorders w psychotic features. But they never actually discuss what makes it unique, what challenges it presents compared to similar diagnoses, etc.

Why don't we have a special diagnosis for PTSD with psychotic features, PTS-A Disorder? Why not OCD with mood disturbance, OC-A Disorder? Why do we get a special combo for JUST THESE TWO?

I'm just so sick of Microsoft and Google. But there's two things holding me back:

1. I wanna play Steam games on my PC

2. I am just an amateur hobbyist, not a tech wizard

it seems like lemmy has a thing for fireflies (aka lightning bugs). It's sad to think of them being driven away by our actions, or not even just us not being able to see them again.

Well my yard/neighborhood is covered in them. Literally hundreds dancing in the grass of every yard, every evening and night. Like they cast light into my home with their blinking by my windows, making me look for a coming car or something. At least one gets into my home every day, much to the delight of my cats.

I get it. I love them. These things have always been special to me, and I spent 10+ yrs living in places w/o them. So now being in an area with a healthy Fire Fly population feels like such a blessing to me.

I figured it'd be cool to share some of that with those of you who miss them. I'm trying to take some pictures and video, get some good closeups, etc. I got one video of two fireflies fucking. Just gotta figure out how to organize the media I guess.

But is there anything else you'd want? Requests or something? I dunno where this is going, look, I'm just saying: you all seem to like Fire Flies. I got Fire Flies. What's next?
