Jasmine is acting IMHO. She thinks she has to upplay everything like for a Telenovela. No other reason why she would call her ex to tell him about her problems with Gino now that she's happy.

Personally I love it and I find many of the steam reviews abysmal. Trying it out also costs you nothing.
