Aga Khan Music Programme

The mission of the Aga Khan Music Programme (AKMP) is to foster the development of living musical heritage in societies across the world where Muslims have a significant presence, and disseminate this work internationally through collaborations with exceptionally creative musicians, artists, educators, and arts presenters.

AKMP was launched in Central Asia, with projects in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, and subsequently expanded to the Middle East and North Africa, South Asia, and West Africa.

AKMP comprises the former Aga Khan Music Initiative and the Secretariat of the Aga Khan Music Awards. We focus on innovative music and foster the creation of new music inspired but not constrained by tradition.

A newly created music publishing arm is managing intellectual property rights for recordings, publications, educational materials, music compositions, and films developed by or featuring educators and artists across AKMP's areas of activity.

Sally Daley - My God My All (1990 cassette) [Ambient Christian]

I found this hidden gem on YouTube and it's absolutely beautiful. It has 4 tracks in the mix. Old school ambience, boards of Canada, Synth style.

This is information I pulled off the YouTube description.

Sally Daley (1941-2020) was a synthesist who worked for decades as a musical director for Roman Catholic churches in the Chicago area. She also taught humanities at the City Colleges of Chicago. Daley released over 15 cassettes in the late '80s and early '90s, incorporating a range of influences from early music and classical to avant-garde and ambient. Her Preludes cassettes, which drew from Gregorian chants and early music were a popular seller at her local church and inspired multiple sequels and compilations. However, other albums featured twelve-tone compositions (Garden of Contrasts), quirky midi pop (Workout), electronic impressionism (Mirages) and religious-themed ambient music (My God and My All)
