Why is "fucking" censored???

Minecraft, while nothing particularly special to me, is most likely what I would choose. The potential for making your own fun in that game is ridiculous even if its been the victim of bad new mechanics bloating vanilla for the past decade. Even the longest of my favorite games cap out around 200-300 hours with all their content squeezed out of them, and with the amount of gaming I do on the regular thats gonna last me a few months at best.

If she's struggling to run and jump at the same time there is no way she's ready for first person camera controls like in minecraft.

Xenoblade 1

Love the combat system mechanics, love the moveset variety among party members, love the huge enviroments, love the side content in general, love the pacing on the main quest, love everything about it. It was my first JRPG and generally the most formative game for my taste in video games.

I think I have more posts mentioning the game on this site than posts that don't mention it lol. Granted part of that is the current lack of more specific/niche discussion topics (which will hopefully be solved as the site grows) as I do have alot of game interests outside of JRPGs.

I cannot recommend Luigi's Mansion 3 enough. Probably the most fun me and my ex had playing anything together. Well made puzzles and really fun co-op mechanics. Its my favorite entry in the series by a good margin.
I also enjoyed both Mario Party games on the Switch, Superstars is the better one for sure though.

Its really nice to see more motion control games, so glad that they still haven't abandoned it after all these years.

Switch:
Just played the Future Connected epilogue for Xenoblade 1 DE, gonna play the Torna DLC for Xenoblade 2 next. Played the base games multiple times but have never played the DLC for any of them.

Other:
Working on Ys 6, Humanity, and Raidou Kuzunoha 1. I'll probably take a break on Humanity til I get a stronger rig though cause its having framedrops even on lower settings

This is the big thing. There's been a few games that have released on PS5 that had me considering buying the console (Ratchet & Clank RA, Returnal, Final Fantasy 16) that have tempted me, but they're all either already on PC or coming in the next 2 years. Why would I buy a console if everything on it is gonna get ported eventually anyways?

Mario Party and Bomberman are the go-to's anytime me and my out-of-state friends meet up, I would see them at specific fighting game tournaments every year but I've fallen out of FGs so I don't know if they keep it going.
Also not quite tradition but every couple years I replay Xenoblade 1. Just did my 4th playthrough last year.

If it has to be a specific moment/level/fight/etc, off the top of my head I'd love to fight the final boss in Final Fantasy 13 fresh again. Its such a cool test of everything you've learned about the combat and a great example of how a JRPG boss can be vulnerable to ailments and debuffs while still putting up plenty of fight. There are definitely better boss fights in gaming but this was one of the most fun to learn how to do in the moment and it also loses a good bit of what makes it fun when you know whats coming.
If I'm allowed to pick a game in general, absolutely Xenoblade 1 as its my favorite game of all time. Amazing combat both in terms of system mechanics and party member variety, really fun to explore enviroments that are never annoying to fight in, and near perfect side content both in terms of amount and structure. Its replay value is insane as I've replayed it 4 times (2 on Wii, 2 on Switch) but I'd love to experience it for the first time again.

Crymachina looks interesting, but considering the similar title and the fact that its by the same devs as Crystar (FuRyu), I'm assuming its at least a spiritual sequel so I wanna finally get around to playing Crystar.
Sand Land and Metaphor look like they'll end up being must-buys, so they'll probably be the games that pushes me into getting a modern rig since I still play on a laptop thats only a bit stronger than a base PS4 lol.
Ys X also looks neat but I've only played Ys 1 & 2 so I've got alot of catching up to do, I've got time though considering how long NISA takes to butcher localize games.

I really do not care how early or late a game gets announced. Plenty of great games have been announced early, plenty of shit games have been announced late. What matters is who's developing it and the situation around the development.

I think people really just need to vet who they get their games from better. There are quite a few publishers/developers I can absolutely rely on to provide a great product on day 1, and saying never to trust them that puts them in the same category as the shitty ones which is wrong.

The WiiU pro controller is absolutely my favorite controller of all time, symmetrical stick placement above the buttons, slim and lightweight yet durable, and an absurd battery life between 60-80 hours.
After that, my next favorite as far as traditional controllers would be the PS2 controller. For non-traditional I have a huge soft spot for the WiiU gamepad and the Wii remote + nunchuk.
The worst controller I've ever used would easily be the N64 controller, followed at a wide margin by the Saturn 3D control pad. I'm also not fond of 360 controller.

I just use notepad on my desktop, its so much faster than any app and obviously doesn't require me to be online. These pics are mostly how I format it, though I did move it around in paint 3D since its too many games for a single easy screenshot at 8 font lol.

Foamstars has me interested, though I really doubt it'll run well on PS4 which means I'll have to skip cause there's no way I'm paying for a console with less than 5 original true exclusives.

Curious whats new that they could have lined up, I feel like we've gotten pretty much everything we could reasonably expect from them besides a true new Mario Kart entry. Excited regardless though.

Gameplay looks incredible just from the little bit they've shown, can't wait to see more and it'll most likely be a day 1 buy for me.
That main character looks atrocious though, legit one of the worst scrimblo bimblo designs I've ever seen in my life.

I was a huge Sonic kid, only had a ps2 during 6th gen so my introduction was Sonic Heroes. When I got a Wii I went back and played the Adventure games. I have mixed feelings on them as an adult, I like pretty much every entry during 6th & 7th gen besides Shadow & 06 since I adored them so much as a kid but I can very easily see the cracks in them now and honestly I don't think I would care for any of them besides Colors & Generations if I didn't grow up with them.

Some games I loved as a kid that 100% hold up as an adult for me however would be Ape Escape 2 & 3, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Super Monkey Ball DX, Aqua Aqua, Klonoa 2 & Wii remake, Pac-Man World 2, ExciteBots Trick Racing, and my favorite game of all time which got me into JRPGs Xenoblade 1.
